Ingredients:
Chana dal (Bengal gram dal) - 2 cups
Green Chillies - 6-7
Onion - 1
Coriander leaves
Salt as required
Oil
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Method:
Soak the Chana dal in water for 3 hrs.
Drain the water from the soaked dal and add some water and grind the dal with green chillies into a batter in a wet grinder.
Pour the batter in a vessel.
Chop onion into small pieces and add to the batter.
Chop the coriander leaves into small pieces and add to the batter.
Add required salt and hing and mix nicely.
Take a Dosa tawa and pour 1 drop of oil to grease the tawa.
Pour 2 hollow spoons of batter and spread it and pour oil around it.
After the dosa is cooked, flip it on the other side and cook.
Now remove the Chana dal dosa and put on a plate.
The Chana dal dosa is ready to be had with molaga podi, mango thokku, Amla (gooseberry) thokku what ever you want to have with as a side dish.

Very recently I had read a post in Tongue ticklers and made a similar chila. This one has onions and more flavour. Bookmarking this!
