Vendakai pakoda / Bhindi pakoda











Ingredients:

Bhindi - 10 -12 nos

Besan - 1 cup

Chilly powder - 1 tsp

Salt - as required

Hing - a pinch

Rice flour - 1 tblsp

Oil for frying

Method:

Wash the bhindis nicely and cut 1 bhindi into 3 pieces depending on the size of the bhindi.

Take a bowl and put the besan, rice flour,chilly powder,salt, hing and sprinkle water and

mix nicely.

Add the bhindi pieces and coat them with the batter nicely.

Now take a kadai and pour sufficient oil and heat.

When the oil is hot,put the batter coated bhindi pieces one by one in the oil few bhindis

and fry nicely.

After the bhindi pakodas are ready and deep fried, transfer to a plate.

The bhind pakodas are hot and crispy to be had as a snack with evening tea or coffee.
