Capsicum /paneer masala



Ingredients:

Capsicum - 1 medium size

Paneer cubes - 8-10

Haldi powder - a pinch

Garam masala - 1/2 tsp

Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp

Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp

Daniya /Jeera powder - 1/2 tsp

Salt as required

Jeera - 1 tsp (for seasoning)

Coriander leaves for garnishing

For grinding:

Onion - 1

Tomato - 1

Ginger - 1 small piece

Garlic flakes - 3-4

Green chillies - 2-3

Method:

Cut the capsicum into pieces.

Take a mixie and grind the items for gravy.

Take a kadai and pour oil and add 1 tsp jeera and saute.

Add the ground masala and stir nicely.

Add salt, chilly powder, garam masala, haldi powder, jeera / daniya powder,chaat masala

powder and mix nicely and stir.

Cook the capsicum pieces with water in a microwave bowl in the microwave for 2 minutes.

Now add the cooked capsicum pieces and the paneer cubes in the gravy and mix nicely.

Cook the gravy for 5 minutes.

Remove from gas and garnish with coriander leaves.

The capsicum/paneer masala is ready to be had with rotis.
