In India we go to the temples to seek God's blessings, but we living in the middle east the temple is not with in our reach. Anyways I have made my own temple at home a pooja room with all the Gods and full of sanctity.
I made rava kesari which is the usual sweet prepared for sweet occasions and semiya payasam as a neivediyam for God. We got a lot of calls from India and locally wishing us a happy anniversary. We planned a private celebration. Our daughter had planned a surprise for us. She booked seats for us at the Indian restaurant in the Grand Hyatt in Dubai and created a pleasant atmosphere for us. She too joined us and we had a beautiful and pleasant evening amid a beautiful setting.
She ordered the starters and a tasty main course for us. The dineer was rotis and tongue tickling sabzis. We also had juices and our favourite especially my daughter's is the Dal Makhni.
She is so fond of this sabzi and so r we. We ended our beautiful evening with the simple rasmalai
and pista kulfi very simple isn't it?
We took lot of snaps of each other in different locations. It was really a private celebration
The highlight of the anniversary was the presentation of adorable and beautiful gifts from our daughter for us. We ended our evening beautifully with an exotic dinner in a beautiful restaurant with our daughter.
